The annual elementary pumpkin decorating contest came to a close on Friday, October 29, 2022. Each class in the elementary wing made their own pumpkins and they all competed against each other for the best pumpkin. Mrs. Havrilla’s pumpkin was decorated as King Bob from the Minions Movie and was crowned the winner. This pumpkin was very creative and they had put a lot of effort into King Bob.
This contest takes a lot of time and effort, however, this fun little contest gives work students an opportunity to work together as a team, and make new friends. This year’s pumpkins ranged from traditional spooky pumpkins to fun pop culture pumpkins. Elementary students enjoy this annual competition.
