On the last Thursday of November, Americans come together to celebrate a national holiday,Thanksgiving. Many people love Thanksgiving because of the delicious food that is associated with this day. Every year, people debate what the star of the Thanksgiving meal is. Is the turkey better or are the sides the best part of the meal? Our social media class recently conducted a survey to determine their favorite Thanksgiving food.
The foods in the survey included stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese, cheesecake, homemade bread, homemade applesauce, corn casserole, and turkey. Mashed potatoes emerged as the clear favorite among the media staff. The side dishes won by a large margin of 96.2 percent with the main course turkey only having 3.8 percent. Mashed potatoes was the class's favorite with a total of 26.9 percent. With turkey, homemade applesauce, homemade bread, cheese cake, and sweet potato casserole all sharing 3.8 percent of the votes all with 1 vote. What is your favorite food for Thanksgiving?
