Super Bowl Ads

Some may wonder why people pay so much for an ad during the Super Bowl, but the reasoning behind it is straightforward. With millions of people watching each year, companies have the chance to reach a massive audience and gain new customers, as well as promote their brand. This can be a great way to increase brand awareness, boost sales, and grow their customer base in the long run. It is estimated that there are approximately 80 to 100 advertisements that are played during the Super Bowl time.

Last year saw record spending on Super Bowl ads, totaling $6.5 million for a full slate of 30-second commercials. In addition, the companies that advertised during the event also had to pay an additional fee to secure their spots, making the total cost of advertising even higher. Commercials during this time are always ten times better due to the fact that they need to grab the attention of so many people in order to get themselves out there. They make these commercials better in quality, with improved production values, engaging special effects, and surreal humor that captivates the audience.

In 2022, the top five most popular Super Bowl ads started with Cable Guy (Verizon), Bud Light Seltzer: Land of Loud Flavors, DraftKings: Fortune - Life’s a Gamble, Meta Quest: Old Friends, New Fun, and lastly Pringles: Stuck in. Even though the Super Bowl is based around the game, many Americans watch the Super Bowl for the half-time show and ads for their entertainment.
