Favorite Shoe Brand Poll

Everybody in school has a favorite brand or multiple favorite brands of shoes, but which one is the most favorite in Lowellville? The media team conducted three rounds of polls using Google Forms, in order to ask students about their favorite brands including Nike, Adidas, Vans, Converse, Slippers, Crocs, Slides, FlipFlops, Element, and Sketchers.

People may ask why this matters. We would say it matters because Lowellville has a dress code with not much room to express yourself, even on dress down days. So, the best way of expressing yourself happens to be with the shoes you wear. So, without further ado, here are the results.

In Round 1, we asked students to choose their favorites between Nike, Adidas, Crocs, slippers, slides, FlipFlops, Vans, Converse, Element, and Skechers. Out of these Nike, Crocs, slides, Converse, and Sketchers moved on to the next round with the addition of the most written in response, Jordans.

During round two, students chose between Nike, Skechers, Crocs, slides, Converse, and Jordans. Nike, Crocs, and Converse were the favorites for this round.

For the final round students chose between Converse, Crocs, and Nike. The final vote came down to Nike winning with 75% of the vote. This was not surprising as Nike shoes are comfortable, popular, and commonly worn shoes, especially by student athletes.

Spencer feels that Vans, Element, and Crocs would probably have to be his top favorite shoe brands. Vans and Element are his favorite brand of everyday skateboarding shoes as they are really comfortable and can keep a good grip on the skateboard. He likes Crocs as typical everyday shoes as they are very comfortable and lovely to wear.

Ari’s favorite brand of shoes is Converse. You'll almost always see her in Converse or Vans. She’s worn Converse since 7th grade and doesn't plan on switching anytime soon. They match her emo-grunge style and go well with mostly everything she wears.
