Little Sweethearts Dance 2023

On February 25, 2023, Lowellville PTO hosted their 3rd annual Little Sweethearts Dance. Grades K-6 enjoyed a night out with their adults. The dance was at St. Nicholas Great Hall and was catered by Gianna's Catering, where the kids enjoyed pasta, chicken fingers, potatoes, and salad along with snacks and dessert; including popcorn, and cake. The hall was decorated with balloons, a balloon arch, a backdrop for pictures, a red carpet, and stars with the kids' names on them made by Zahara Chaibi Barnett. The kids also had the chance to have glow in the dark toys, such as glasses, necklaces, bracelets, headbands, and glow in the dark sticks. The dance was filled with unique fashion trends. Many girls wore long, simple dresses  while others wore long flowing dresses. Many guys wore  dress pants and a button up shirt. Some went all out with a full suit. Anthony Mariotti was the DJ and he played music for all of the age groups there. Ranging from songs such as  "We Don't Talk About Bruno¨ from Disney’s Encanto to "24K Magic" by Bruno Mars. Three hundred people attended the dance raising $9,000  for the PTO. It was nice for the kids to enjoy a night out with their family and  friends while laughing and dancing on the dance floor!
