As our seniors approach the end of their high school career things start to change and become serious for their futures. They are making their final decisions about where they are going to be living, if they are going to college, whether or not they will live on campus or commute,what and what they plan to study while in school. If they do not plan on attending college they will then start to figure out possible jobs or training centers they will be applying for.
While several seniors will be attending Youngstown State University in the fall, others will be attending Kent State University, Ohio University, and Westminster, Mount Union, and the University of Cincinnati, just to name a few. We have a wide variety of majors that our seniors plan on attending college for. Some of those majors include: exercise science, nursing, sports medicine, doctoral degrees, business administration, criminal justices, social work, fashion merchandising, interior design, and computer science. We have a few students that plan on going into the trades after high school or into the workforce instead of college.
All of our seniors have a great future ahead of them and will achieve wonderful things in the future. It has been a pleasure for the staff of The Rocket Review to write stories about such an amazing group of seniors. From playoff games to school dances, it has been exciting to cover stories featuring the amazing seniors of this past year. Best wishes to the class of 2023!
