There are several movies and TV shows in the Sailor Moon franchises. The first Sailor Moon to appear was in 1992 titled Sailor Moon. In Sailor Moon Crystal the girls (the pretty guardians) have been reborn and have to face evil forces that come to Earth to steal the legendary powerful crystal. The girls must join up to defend the forces, protect the crystal, and the princess. Each episode has a fun and upbeat tone and a varied actionpack. The pretty guardians' pets, Luna and Artemis, show them the way and train them. Sailor Moon Crystal has three seasons and you can watch it for free on YouTube.
When introducing the guardians it didn't feel rushed and each girl has a good portion of screen time. Each character has a few of their own episodes. They all have episodes dedicated to themselves, their personality, growth, with interesting storylines. Mostly in the arcade where they all meet up to have a good time and enjoy each other's company and play the ‘Sailor V’ game.
There are great, interesting characters on the show. Sailor Pluto is my favorite and the prettiest character. Sailor Pluto is the garden of all time and space. She looks the best, wearing keys around her waist, and has dark green and black hair. Usagi (Sailor Moon) is fourteen years old and in the eighth grade. Her boyfriend's Tuxedo Mask is seventeen and in his first year of college.
The show is very action packed and there's always a villain to fight or a problem to solve. However, after every hard going episode where a main character dies or gets kidnaped there's always an easy going fun episode or scene to follow.
Overall, Sailor Moon Crystal is a really fun show to watch. It had a lot of good questions that were asked in the beginning and answered at the end. The characters had a great dynamic and worked well. If I had the choice to change anything in the show I would make Tuxedo Mask a little younger and leave out the time travel. The show kept you on your toes and waiting for the next thing to happen. Manga fans, mythology fans, and those who enjoy science fiction and astronomy may enjoy the series.
