Rockstar Games has some renowned games, but one of their most popular games by far is Red Dead Redemption 2: a western themed action-adventure game. It has sold over 50 million copies worldwide and supposedly sold 17 million copies in its first 12 days of publication.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, players can go on a majority of different missions, which can be played from third or first person perspective. In this game you can play outlaws Arthur Morgan or John Marston, who are trying to survive the decline of the Wild West. The Arthur Morgan story consists of about 70 missions and the John Marston story contains about 21 missions. The main mission of the game requires players to fight against enemies. Additionally, you can help civilians to earn “honor” and complete side missions to help towns earn awards. While completing missions players can explore abandoned houses, buildings, towns, and buy essential items to help in your battles. The main towns and locations in this game are Colter, Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Annesburg, Van Horn, Armadillo, Tumbleweed, and Fort Wallace.
I would certainly recommend this game to teenagers through adults because it is rated M for mature due to the nature of the game. I would also recommend this game to anyone who enjoys westerns.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is renowned for having some of the best video game graphics. From the sunlight shining through the trees perfectly to rain falling accurately, players will feel as if they are really in the old west. Another thing Red Dead Redemption 2 is renowned for is its details. For example, if you whistle too many times your character will start to take deep breaths, homes and train tracks will be built over time if not already built, characters may become sunburnt, or over time your character ages. I will rate this game 5/5 stars for its plot, graphics, genre, and attention to details.
